Thought I'd share some of the things I'm working on to help photographers.
This year Successful-Photographer was launched. It supports a monthly newsletter for photographers with articles on the business, marketing and art of photography. It has a calendar for photographic events along with services for photographers and access to other products through the shopping carts.
I also worked with a programmer on building software for managing photography studio businesses (PC only). There is a lite version called The Studio Assistant Professional and a heavyweight version named The Studio Assistant Executive. The difference being in the Executive version has all the capabilities of the Professional plus invoicing, inventory tracking, accounts receivable, communicates with ProSelect and lots more. If anyone is interested in the software have them order it through the Successful Photographer web site as I've been able to discount it there.
I'd also like to invite all Arizona photographers to the 4th Annual Arizona Professional Photographers Association "Meet and Greet". The Meet & Greet has been a great success and is a wonderful way to let other photographers know about how AZPPA works. There will be light food and the first drink is on AZPPA. Network with other photographers while new photographers get introduced to Arizona Professional Photographers Association. Anyone who wishes to attend just needs to email me.
